Wind Ensemble

Wind Ensemble

The final Wind Ensemble concert of the 2020-21 season includes something for everyone;  a classic chamber work for winds, a collection of Renaissance dance pieces, a cornerstone British band work, and a rousing concert march!  Dr. David Turrill, Director of Bands at Muskingum University will lead the musicians in a performance Felix Mendelssohn’s Nocturne Op. 24 for chamber winds. The concert also includes music from Tielman Susato’s The Danserye, Gustav Holst’s Second Suite in F, Karl King’s The Melody Shop and a special performance by UWM’s graduate saxophone quartet.

PLEASE NOTE
All PSOA event spaces still require all patrons to wear face coverings, social distance and sanitize hands prior to entering into the event space. If the performance has an intermission we ask that all patrons to please exit the event space to allow for the ventilation system to run through a full cycle before the second half of the performance begins.
