UWM Dance High School Workshop Day

February 3, 2023 @ 9:30 am - 1:30 pm CST

UWM Dance Studio Workshop Day is open to all interested High School dance students. High School Workshop Day is the best way for high school groups and classes to learn from our internationally known faculty. This event is great for students curious and interested in becoming a dance major at Peck School of the Arts, the University of Wisconsin’s only School of the Arts. High school groups, High School dance programs and individuals (accompanied by a chaperone) are welcome to register.

Student Registration covers:
Matinee performance of faculty concert, Winterdances 2023
Question and Answer session with Dance Faculty and Current Students
Two 1-hour technique classes: Contemporary and Composition

Schedule: Friday, February 3, 2023 (9:30am – 1:30pm)
9:15am Group check in and arrival / Mainstage Theater opens
9:30am Winterdances morning matinee + question and answer session
10:30am Break for lunch
11:30am Contemporary Dance Technique
12:30pm Composition Class

Matinee Performance of Winterdances 2023 performance will be located at the Mainstage Theater (Theater Building), 2400 E. Kenwood Blvd. Milwaukee, WI 53211 United States

Dance Classes will be located at Mitchell Hall rooms #254 and #256
3203 N Downer Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53211

Student – $18
Chaperones –  Free
