UWM Dance Studio Workshop Day is open to all interested High School dance students. High School Workshop Day is the best way for high school groups and classes to learn from our internationally known faculty. This event is great for students curious and interested in becoming a dance major at Peck School of the Arts, the University of Wisconsin’s only School of the Arts. High school groups, High School dance programs and individuals (accompanied by a chaperone) are welcome to register.

9:15am Dance Dept Tour (meet Maria/Christal Mitchell Hall 256 lounge)
9:40am Observe end of Modern class with Gina L., #395
10:30am Observe or Participate First Year Ballet class with Majors #395(inquire with Chair Maria Gillespie)
11:30-12:15pm- Class: Improvisation/Contemporary #256 with faculty Dan Schuchart.
12:15pm   Q & A with available faculty/students #256
12:30-1:15pm – Class: African Diaspora #256 with faculty Zakiya Cornish
1:15 Lunch UWM Union
2:00pm End/Depart
