This Is Modern Art takes you racing over the rooftops, through the history of graffiti art, and face-to-face with the question: where does art belong? Graffiti crews are willing to risk anything for their art. But when one crew finishes the biggest graffiti bomb of their careers, a fifty-foot graffiti piece on the towering wall of the Art Institute of Chicago, the consequences get serious. They are marginalized young people of color willing to risk everything to make their voices heard and prove that another paradigm is possible. Directed by Katie Avila Loughmiller.
