March 7, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm CST

Vox Femina: Motherhood, Identity, and Performance post #metoo
Designed for women, mothers, and anyone else who wants to participate, connect, and learn. We will sing and use our voices as part of the event, but no formal training is necessary. We will listen to music from Eternal Burning an opera by Amanda Schoofs which embraces the identity-altering phenomenon of pregnancy and birth. Come explore your voice, sing, listen, share your story, and celebrate female-identity, strength, and vocal agency, while deepening connections within your community.
Saturday, March 7, 2020 | 1-4 P.M.
Kenilworth Square East Gallery, 2155 N. Prospect Ave.
RSVP to kse-gallery@uwm.edu
Free Event | All are Welcome
All are welcome! Children can participate in on-site art activities while adults participate in the workshop, opera scenes, and conversation. We encourage non-female identifying participants to listen, learn, reflect, and connect.
Please RSVP – space is limited, and refreshments will be provided!!!
