Milwaukee Composers’ Collective

November 14, 2018 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Music Composition & Technology department presents a diverse recital of new music, entirely composed by students and organized by the Milwaukee Composers’ Collective.

About Milwaukee Composers’ Collective: MCC is an organization of student composers at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Peck School of the Arts. MCC‘s main initiative is to organize a concert each semester that provides Music Composition & Technology students with the opportunity to premiere new works. Through this concert, students in both in MCC and the composition department acquire valuable, real-world experiences for connecting professionally with performers, essential concert organization skills, collaborating across artistic mediums, and making connections outside of the academic community. Milwaukee Composers’ Collective hopes to foster an environment of creativity, discussion, and positive feedback to help the artistic community grow.

Free and open to the public!
