Jazz Ensemble
The UWM Jazz Ensemble is comprised of 20 undergraduate and graduate students and performs a wide variety of music composed or arranged for jazz big band. There is a particular focus on the music of the bands of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Woody Herman, Thad Jones/Mel Lewis, Charles Mingus, Toshiko Akiyoshi, and Maria Schneider.
