Artists Now! Guest Lecture Series: Shannon Molter
Shannon Molter holds a BFA from the Peck School of the Arts in both Fiber Art and Art Education, with an Honors College certificate in Philosophy. Shannon often uses found materials relevant to the location of installations to expose connections between humans and their natural and social surroundings. She encourages up-and-coming artists as an art teacher in Milwaukee Public Schools. Molter has exhibited and taught throughout the Midwest and internationally. She has built site specific work at The Museum of Wisconsin Art, The John Michael Kohler Art Center, USABLE SPACE, The Urban Ecology Center, and Temporary Resurfacing, in Milwaukee Wisconsin.

All 2021-22 lectures are free virtual events. Series supported in part by the UWM Black and Gold Committee & Differential Tuition funds, Frederick R. Layton Fund, the John Colt Memorial Art Fund, The Queer Curatorial Fund, Print Club, and OBJECT.
