Artists Now! Guest Lecture Series: Sarah FitzSimons
Sarah FitzSimons is a visual artist who makes sculpture which interacts with and derives meaning from its surroundings. Much of the work seeks to reconnect our constructed culture with wider patterns of nature and aims to extend beyond the bubble of the ‘small, nearby and short-term’. She exhibits internationally and in cities across the U.S. Recent solo projects include large outdoor sculptures developed for the Chicago Architecture Biennial (2015), the Djerassi Foundation in Woodside, CA (2014), and Klemm Gallery in Adrian, MI (2016).

All 2022-23 lectures will be FREE and live virtual/zoom events. Series supported in part by the UWM Black and Gold Committee & Differential Tuition funds, Frederick R.
