Artists Now! Guest Lecture Series: Hiroko Yamada
Hiroko Yamada is a Japanese born studio artist and owner of the HYART Gallery in Madison, Wisconsin. She earned her Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she studied art metal and jewelry and currently serves as an honorary fellow. Hiroko enjoys helping others realize their art inspirations and dreams. She teaches metal courses at Madison College as well as workshops at prestigious craft schools and institutions, such as Penland School of Crafts (where she is on the board of trustees), Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Kobe Designs University and Kyoto Museum of Arts. Her work has been featured in exhibitions at SOFA Chicago, Patina Gallery, Facèré Jewelry Art Gallery, Dan-Ginza Gallery and American Craft Council Shows.
