Allen Morris is a Milwaukee-based photographic artist and Associate Lecturer of Photography at the Peck School of Arts at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. His research uses a variety of light sensitive materials along with contemporary and historical photographic processes and techniques to examine the relationship between humans and their environments. He creates work with a particular interest on the formation and evolution of the concept of Place on a personal and societal level. His work has been exhibited in the United States and internationally. He is an active member of the Postcard Collective and the Society for Photographic Education.
