Jonathan Winkle is an accomplished trombonist, conductor, educator, and arts administrator. He has served as the Executive & Artistic Director of Performance Santa Fe, President & CEO of the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts, Executive Director of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, and Vice President for Community Engagement for the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Winkle has performed with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Dallas Wind Symphony, Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra, the Breckenridge Chamber Orchestra, the Knoxville Wind Symphony, many touring Broadway shows, the Albuquerque Jazz Orchestra, East Side Jazz Orchestra, and Starliner Big Band. Additionally, he has coached for the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra for over 30 years, and taught a variety of courses for the University of North Texas, Carthage College, Carroll University, UW-Parkside, and UW-Milwaukee. He was the Founding Artistic Director & Conductor of Cathedral Brass, and Music Director & Conductor of the Carthage College Chamber Orchestra.
