Biography

Allen Morris is a Milwaukee based photographer whose work explores the relationships of humans and their environments with a particular interest in the topics of Place & Space. His recently completed bodies of work use the landscape as a stage to explore the ideas that underlie his work.

His work has been exhibited domestically and internationally in Italy, China, South Korea, and at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in Antarctica as part of a curated exhibition by The Postcard Collective.

Further, his work has also garnered the attention of well-known jurors and critics such as interdisciplinary artist Kia Neill, acclaimed photographer Millee Tibbs and Dr. Julia Dolan, Minor White Curator of Photography at the Portland Art Museum who awarded selections from the series "ISO" a Jurors Award at the 16th Annual Joyce Elaine Grant Photography Exhibition in 2017.
