Biography

Kathleen Donnelly, Visiting Artist in Costume,  holds the title of  Associate Professor Emerita from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh where she taught courses in Design, Makeup and Costume Technology, and designed costumes for 25 years.  Prior to moving to Oshkosh she worked in the Long Island/New York City Metro area as a costume designer and lecturer. She recently published a book with her former colleague, Roy Hoglund, A Designer’s Guide to Period Styles (Waveland Press).

She is a member of USITT and currently serves as Co-Vice Commissioner for Expo and Exhibits for the Costume Design and Technology Commission, and has served as a board member and past chair of the USITT Midwest Regional Section. In addition to her involvement with USITT, she has served as Design,Technology and Management Chair for Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region III and was the recipient of the Kennedy Center Gold Medallion in 2017.
