Biography

Lauren Braier is currently a Lecturer in Design & Visual Communication at the Peck School of the Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is also a brand identity and packaging designer based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has 6+ years of professional design experience including 3 years agency work and 3 years of design studio ownership. She specializes in working with women-led product-based businesses in the wellness and cosmetics industry. However, Lauren has worked with clients from a wide variety of industries including pet products, breweries, food, auto, and more. Her approach to design is rooted in strategy and having a core understanding of her client’s goals, marketplace, audience, and competitors.

Lauren encourages students to embrace education by tapping into their unique skillsets, background and passions. She strives to empower students to use creative critical thinking to understand the connection between what they’re learning and the world beyond the classroom.
