Connect with the Peck School of the Arts during ‘Safer at Home’

The UW-Milwaukee campus, including all Peck School of the Arts facilities, is currently closed. However, classes are still in session, students are performing and making art, and we are “open” for online tours and orientation events, virtual information sessions and more.

Current, future and transfer students – and family – can reach out at any time with questions and requests for information or to schedule a virtual visit. We are here for you, online, and we cannot wait to welcome you to campus when the time is right.

Please click on the appropriate button below for information about our advising, admissions and visit options at this time.

Advising & Admissions - Transfer Students

Email to connect with an academic advisor as early as possible. Early planning is key to ensuring that your courses will not only transfer into our curriculum, but will also help towards the sequencing of classes for an on-time graduation. Some programs have specific requirements for the transferability of required major courses, and some universities do not offer the courses needed in the major.

We understand that students transfer to Peck School of the Arts for a variety of reasons – financial, personal/family, or perhaps because your current college/university no longer fits your goals. Our academic advisors can help you with the transfer process to ensure a smooth transition and great first semester in the Peck School of the Arts.

For more information, please review our FAQs for transfer students.

Online Auditions

Auditions are an important part of the Peck School of the Arts application process in our departments of dance, music and theatre. We are accepting video auditions through August 31, 2020, which can be submitted online after you have completed your UWM application. Applications for the 2021-22 academic year will open in conjunction with the university application on September 1.

PSOA Virtual Information Sessions

For a closer look at life in the Peck School of the Arts, sign up today for an interactive PSOA virtual info session where faculty and student reps from each department join prospective arts students at 10 a.m. on Wednesdays.

The university’s official Information on Coronavirus page is updated daily and stores a wealth of information on UWM practices, procedures and news related to the pandemic. The FAQ is updated regularly and is an excellent resource for anyone with questions beyond the scope of Peck School of the Arts advising and admissions.
