Design Entrepreneurial Showcase

First Year Exhibition
A student’s first year is a time of artistic and personal development during which students choose their areas of concentration and begin to see themselves becoming practitioners in their field. This exhibition is an opportunity for these students to showcase the work they have created during this process, which takes place at the UWM Union Art Gallery each Spring semester.

Graduate Exhibitions & Gallery Talks
This exhibition showcasing works by students receiving their Master of Art (MA) and Master of Fine Art (MFA) degrees takes place near the end of every semester in Kenilworth Square East Gallery. There is also an afternoon of artist talks by the exhibiting graduates in conjunction with the exhibition.

Photography BFA Exhibition
An exhibition that showcases the thesis work of graduating Photography & Imaging seniors. This show is the culmination of a year dedicated to the development of a strong studio practice and focused research, and celebrates the unique stylistic and conceptual voice of each student. This takes place toward the end of each semester at an off-campus site of participating students’ choosing.

Senior Design Capstone Showcase
This event takes place near the end of each Spring semester and is the culmination of the Capstone Project course for the Design & Visual Communications program.
