UWM Art Collection Traveling Exhibitions

The UWM Art Collection is pleased to announce that it has initiated a Traveling Exhibition program which presently offers two high quality print exhibitions for loan to museums and university art galleries. The exhibitions are: The Nativity, which relates the New Testament narrative in 16th through 18th century prints by artists including Albrecht Dürer, Rembrandt, Annibale Carracci, Adriaen Collaert, Christoffel Van Sichem II; and, Rembrandt Etchings: States, Fakes and Restrikes, an exhibition of 30 prints, including first state pulls from the artist’s lifetime and restrike prints from the 17th to 20th centuries, which examines the problem of authenticating Rembrandt’s etchings.
