Recent MA Grad Named Member Engagement Coordinator at MOWA

Recent UWM Art History MA Graduate Heather Sheets Hanlon has been named as the newest Member Engagement Coordinator at the Museum of Wisconsin Art in West Bend.

Heather works in the development department to help create membership initiatives surrounding MOWA’s “everyone’s a member” philosophy. She also lead the frontline staff to cultivate a culture of growth, participation, and care.

Heather says, “UWM Art History helped me prepare for this job by allowing me to be creative in what I study, write, and create for the exhibition track. I also learned how to consider and discuss complex museum issues now relevant to this position. Lastly, the supportive staff helped me navigate where I may fit best professionally and connected me to a wealth of resources and network of experiences that helped me explore what I consider meaningful in this field.”

Congratulations and best of luck to Heather!
