Friends of Art History

The Friends of Art History (FOAH) program is an easy, affordable way to support the mission of the Department of Art History, Emile H. Mathis Art Gallery, and the UWM Art Collection, while enjoying some great benefits.  Your 12-month membership provides support for exhibitions and educational programming in the Department of Art History and Mathis Gallery. Be a part of an engaged arts community that supports the Department of Art History and Gallery’s educational mission.

What benefits come with my donation?

All FOAH donors will receive an Emile H. Mathis Art Gallery waterproof sticker, and six collectible note cards, each featuring works from the gallery’s collection. Donors will also be able to choose either an Emile H. Mathis Art Gallery ceramic mug, or tote bag. In addition, all FOAH donors will be invited to lectures, events, and faculty coffees at the gallery.

How long does my FOAH membership last?  

Memberships are good for 12 months, ending on the last day of the month.

Is my membership tax deductible?

All donations to the Friends of Art History through the UWM Foundation are 100% tax deductible!
