Graduate student Cameron Fontaine is interning at the UWM Special Collections in the UWM Golda Meir Library for the Spring 2016 semester. Fontaine reports, “I have taken part in several projects which have shaped the way I think about my future after graduate school. Starting with my first week here in Special Collections, I arranged and installed an exhibit of a local artist/graphic designer. Since that project finished, I spend the majority of my time researching and writing blog posts, being a point of contact for an upcoming exhibit in mid-May, and most importantly developing a collection policy for the collection of comic books here in Special Collections. Working with comic books is especially exciting for me as my studies revolve around comics, and I have had an opportunity to put my expertise to use.”
