On behalf of the Department of Art History and the new Director of the UWM Art Collection and Emile H. Mathis Art Gallery, Professor David Pacifico, we invite you to join us at our Fall 2018 exhibition opening!

Leigh Mahlik, Curator of the UWMAC and Mathis Gallery, presents Whistler prints from the UWM Art Collection, tracing the artist’s printmaking career beginning with his naturalistic etchings from the late 1850s through to his inventive lithographs of the 1890s. The show will run until November 1.

Be sure to catch Curator Leigh Mahlik’s Gallery talk at 5:30pm. Light refreshments will be served and the event is free and open to the public!

This exhibition will be open for viewing Monday through Thursday 10am-4pm beginning Monday, September 17th.
