Teaching Assistant Positions
Annually, teaching assistant (TA) positions are available in the Department of Architecture for highly qualified graduate students in MArch, MUD, PhD, and MS programs. These annual positions provide tuition remission and a stipend.

Design I and II
Undergraduate Lecture
Introductory courses about architecture and architectural making. 2D and 3D form and space tested through the theoretical, pragmatic, and contextual issues that influence architecture.
History and Theory I, II, II, IV
Undergraduate Lecture and Discussions
Overview of the histories and theories that have shaped the discipline of architecture: its histories, theories and methodologies.
Representation I and II
Undergraduate/Graduate Lecture & Labs
Development of precise standards of drawing and the history and techniques of descriptive and analytical drawing.
Building Tech I, II, III, IV, V
Undergraduate/Graduate Lecture & Discussions or Labs
Sequence of architecture technology courses that cover structures, building envelope systems and detailing, and passive/active environmental technology. Courses require students to exercise technical detailing and both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Professional Practice I, II, III
Undergraduate/Graduate Lecture
Aspects of architectural practice; content includes office procedures, contract management, legal constraints, building code, programming, and professional notation and communication.
