Interim Assistant Director
Accessibility Resource Center

Cassie Franklin has worked with UWM since 2002 in various positions.  She started out as an Advisor for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing students with the Accessibility Resource center, before transitioning over to a federal grant project housed at UWM with the US Department of Education.  Seh worked with Pepnet 2 (formerly MCPO, PEPNet-Midwest, and Pepnet) until 2015, when she returned to her current position, as interim Assistant Director of the Accessibility Resource Center.

Cassie is also a proud alumnus of UWM, graduating with her Bachelor of Science degree to Social Work (with an emphasis on Psychology) and also obtaining her Child and Youth Development Certificate.  After a few false starts, she is working on completing her Masters of Science Degree in Disability Services in Higher Education with an Advanced Certificate in Disability Studies from the City University of New York-School of Professional Studies.

In her spare time, Cassie spends all her time with her twin girls and husband, exploring local trails and planning that elusive trip to Disney World.
