What are some of your fondest memories from being at UWM?
Since I was a graduate student taking night classes, I did not partake in any extracurricular activities on campus, so my fondest memories are as an alumnus looking back and participating in all the things UWM currently has to offer – for example, participating in the alumni recognition event at the Milwaukee Public Museum to participating in Rockwell Automation Lunch and Learn sessions listening to UWM speakers.
What was your favorite class/professor?
My favorite class was “Production Inventory Control” taught by John Liu – he taught the class in a way that connected with me. I also enjoyed a class taught by Layth Alwan – he also had a way of connecting with students.
What’s the most important thing you learned at UWM?
Perseverance – since I was taking night classes and had a young family, I had to learn how to balance and work through school and family conflicts.
