The Department of African and African Diaspora Studies is pleased to announce that associate professor Gladys Mitchell-Walthour has been named a 2020-21 CLACS Fellow! Her research project, “Black Brazilian Women’s Use of Digital Media for Social Justice during the Covid-19 Crisis,” will contribute to the scholarly exchange on this year’s topic, Latin America and the Caribbean in Times of Crisis.
