Since 2016, he has served in the Director position on an interim basis, steering efforts to integrate library services and collections across UWM campuses at Waukesha and Washington County.  He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Council of University of Wisconsin Libraries and as the Vice Chair/Chair Elect of the Wisconsin Association of Academic Libraries.

He has over 15 years of leadership in academic libraries with increasing levels of administrative responsibility. He earned his doctoral degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz in Literature, and his Master of Library and Information Science from UWM.

I extend my thanks to the Search and Screen Committee, chaired by Amanda Seligman, for its excellent work!

Take care,

Johannes
