Dear Colleagues,

I share with you sad news from my office. Kathy Barber, a long-time UWM employee in the Provost’s Office, passed away on Tuesday, March 22.

Kathy worked at UWM for nearly 25 years, retiring in 2011. During her time at UWM, she supported the Academic Program and Curriculum Committee, the Academic Review process, the Academic Approval process, and provided administrative support to associate vice chancellors in the Division of Academic Affairs. Kathy graduated from Casimir Pulaski High School in 1963 and attended Moraine Park Technical College in West Bend. Before coming to UWM, Kathy was a baker at Fox and Hounds restaurant.
