I share with you sad news from Kathleen Dolan, Chair of the Department of Political Science.

Dr. Jennifer Smith, former assistant professor of Political Science at UW-Milwaukee, passed away on Sunday, August 5.  Dr. Smith earned her Ph.D at Yale University, and taught at UWM from 2005-13. At the time of her death, she was a faculty member at Deep Springs College in Big Pine, California. Dr. Smith’s obituary is online.
