I share with you sad news from Interim Dean Stephen Schmid in the College of General Studies.

Brent Wineinger, Senior Lecturer of Biology, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018. Brent collapsed at the start of last Thursday’s Waukesha based Anatomy and Physiology class and died at the hospital. Dean Schmid shared the news of Brent’s passing with his students and with the College of General Studies late last week.

Brent obtained his Master of Science Degree in Molecular Cell Biology and was an Instructor at UWM at Waukesha and Washington County campuses, and at Milwaukee Area Technical College.

Brent’s obituary is online.  Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, September 25, at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Avenue, in De Pere, Wisconsin. Visitation is from 1:00 – 3:15 p.m., with service to follow at 3:30 p.m.
