I share with you sad news from Dean Brett Peters in the College of Engineering and Applied Science.

Dr. Stanley Weiss, Emeritus Professor of Materials Science Engineering, passed away on April 30. Dr. Weiss was a faculty member in the College from 1967 to 1985 and played a major role in building the Materials Department at UWM. He had been quite active in the UWM Retirees Association.

His obituary is online. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 2nd at 1:00 p.m., at the Goodman-Bensman Funeral Home, 4750 North Santa Monica Boulevard, in Whitefish Bay.
