On June 29th, Chancellor Mark Mone announced to the UW-Milwaukee campus that UW System received accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) for UW-Waukesha and UW-Washington County to join UWM, effective July 1, 2018.
The HLC granted approval for all two-year UW campuses to consolidate with their respective four-year campuses as initially proposed by the UW Board of Regents (Board) in November 2017.
