Favorite UWM Place

Kenwood Interdisciplinary Research Center (KIRC). Tons of extremely interesting research going on in KIRC. Gives perspective in how valuable an institution we are not only to Milwaukee and the state of Wisconsin, but also on a national and international level.

Favorite Milwaukee Place

Grant Park. Lots of beaches, shore breaks, bike paths, streams and woods to explore in this gorgeous Milwaukee County park.

Fun/Interesting Fact

My path to college was different than most. Rather than go directly to college, I spent some time after high school as a ski bum in Montana.

My life at UWM started as a transfer student in the fall of 2002. I fell in love with campus and the City of Milwaukee, made lots of connections and worked to find my way back onto campus. Shortly after graduation in the spring of 2004, I found myself back on campus working in the office of Recruitment and Outreach helping recruit new freshmen students into UWM. I’ve made UWM my home ever since!

Currently, I am the Assistant Director for Admissions in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions on campus. Along with a team of stellar advisors, my focus is primarily on transfer students. Helping students find their place at UWM is a huge reward in the admission process. But helping students understand transfer course equivalencies, admission policies, articulation agreements is just part of the equation. Finding the right fit for students on campus is equally important. Having so many academic opportunities is an amazing benefit to being at UWM. Having all of the other amazing student support offices, research opportunities, involvement activities, and employment services can help you find a place on campus that fits who you are and meets both your academic and personal goals.

If you’re interested in any of our academic programs, would like to speak about transfer opportunities, or have general questions, please let me know how I can help you. I can be reached by phone at 414-229-6235 or by email at Looking forward to seeing you on campus soon!
