Norris Health Services provide students with general medical and mental health care, assist students in understanding their health needs and guide them to make healthy choices on a daily basis. It is recommended that you make an appointment in order to reduce your waiting time. For urgent issues we have some same day availability. At Norris you will find caring, experienced professionals including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, psychologists, counselors, health educators, and others. Services include: Medical Clinic, Mental Health, Health Promotion and Wellness, Specialty Care, and Ancillary Services.
The professional staff of the Counseling Unit includes psychologists, counselors and psychiatrists. All services are confidential and short-term and include: individual and group counseling; crisis counseling; medication evaluation and stabilization; outreach; and referral to community agencies when indicated.
