Mission

The mission of the Structural Engineering Laboratory is to provide the facilities and know-how needed to advance the field of structural engineering through leading-edge research by UWM faculty and students, to support the educational laboratory needs of engineering students in the mechanics, materials and structural areas, to serve the specialized testing needs of the engineering community in Wisconsin and beyond, to promote and support collaborative research across departments, colleges and institutions, and to provide hands-on work experience and training for undergraduate and graduate students.
