Mediation is an ever-expanding and ever-changing field, covering all aspects of family concerns from divorce, family and custody disputes, separation of never-married or same-gender couples, to intact marriages, family businesses, estates and more.
Mediation allows parties to maintain greater control of their lives and make their own decisions. The process fosters understanding, cooperation and agreements that work for both parties. UWM’s courses are distinctive because they focus on strengthening the family connection in the face of adversity. This foundation is universally applicable to all types of dispute management and resolution.
Our programs have been reviewed and approved for CLEs and also CEUs. Our Family Mediation program meets or exceeds the national mediation training standard including the training required by Wisconsin Chapter 767.
