Note: Week 1: Mary Fenwerda “Milwaukee Justice Center” Learn about the Milwaukee Justice Center as a public-private partnership in Milwaukee, why the MJC was developed, its place in the continuum of civil legal services (along with status of civil legal services in Milwaukee/state of Wisconsin), and the experiences of clients and volunteers. For your information, we utilize over 400 volunteers serving over 10,000 each year.
Week 2: Karen Katz Peck “Stress-Free Organizing” Everyone needs a little organization in his or her life. What do your kitchen counters look like? Do you even know what’s on the top shelf of your closet? Does the mountain of papers on your desk frighten you? Chronic disorganization, hoarding and even excess clutter can negatively impact productivity and efficiency. Often times, these issues negatively impact how we feel about our space and ourselves. We will talk about some specific organizational tools, as well as strategies for taking control.
