Note: Week 1: Playful Aging: Embracing the Inevitable  (Kyrie Carpenter) – As a culture we tend to be anti-aging. Aging is inevitable, fear is preventable. Participants are given the opportunity to look at aging through a new perspective, an aspect of life to be embraced. Through use of The PLAY Method we will look at what we can learn from the aging process and how we can cultivate skills to increase the quality of life as we age. We will cover an aspect of P.L.A.Y. (Pacing, Life-Story, Aesthetics and Your Perspective) through discussion and activities. Participants will explore ways they can embrace the aging process and increase their quality of life.

Week 2: A Life of “Becoming” (Mary Jo Esser and Tesha Urban) – Your story narrative has been unfolding since your very beginning of life. It’s being shaped. Re-shaped. And shaped again. Have you taken the opportunity to consider your narrative, and where your future lies? Join us for a time of togetherness as we work from our inside-out and incorporate mind, body and spirit practices to help you be open and present to your beautiful, unfolding journey. Be and become more.

Week 3: The Milwaukee Bucket List (Barbara Ali) – Barbara Ali, author of 101 Things to Do in Milwaukee Parks: A guide to the green spaces in Milwaukee, and The Milwaukee Bucket List, shares the best Milwaukee has to offer in recreation, dining, and fun as she shows you slides she’s taken on her exploration of our beautiful city.  Come learn more about Milwaukee and find some new places to enjoy!  Both of her books will be available for sale at a reduced price of $15.
