Genetics

Gr. 6-12

In this class, students will learn the role of DNA and how this unique molecule commands so much of how life works, from microscopic molecules to entire ecosystems. We will cover how the structure of the DNA molecule is transcribed and translated into proteins, and how these proteins affect the traits of organisms through labs, lessons, visualizations and data.
