Explore the dynamic contributions of nonprofits to American society, focusing on people of color and their role in leadership. Examine cultural influences on service providers and recipients, and the connection between past and present challenges facing nonprofits. NOTE: Free workshops do not count toward Governmental Affairs certificates.

This course can be applied to the Professional Certificate in Nonprofit Management.


This free workshop is offered to you as a preliminary step to increase your awareness of the nonprofit sector. While it is not a required workshop to complete the certificate, it provides you with an overview of the language of nonprofits.
