Developing Public and Private Relations

To address diminishing resources and expanding needs, state, local, county and university leaders need to find creative ways to do the business of government. One important strategy is to develop private and social sector partnerships.

Explore the changing role of government, the foundations of an effective partnership, the conditions most conducive to public-private partnerships and alternative strategies to direct service delivery by government. Discuss examples of public-private partnerships and identify prospective partnerships for your agency.

This course can be applied to the Certificate in Public Administration.

All sessions are Face-to-Face unless otherwise noted.
