Budgeting Basics for Public Managers

Focus on pre-budget program planning as an annual process that translates policy objectives into fiscal terms. Learn the elements of effective pre-budget planning and how it differs according to type of management values held in the organization. Class discussion and case examples link multi-year planning and annual budgeting.

This course can be applied to the Certificate in Public Administration.
