Microbial Methods in Water Management
Water is an essential component of our daily lives. Improving water quality contributes to the human, ecosystem, and economic health of our communities. Acquire a basic understanding of water and health, aquatic microbiology, the use of US EPA tools for managing and assessing recreational waters, and the application of basic microbiological and ecological data in environmental mitigation. Emphasis will be on selected areas of interest from the perspective of public health, environmental engineering, and municipal conservation management.
