Trauma in Our Community — Healing Trauma as a Public Health Priority

Hyatt Regency Milwaukee, WI and Live Online

Trauma is a universal human experience that touches the lives of individuals from diverse backgrounds. It is a shared journey that, while challenging, presents an opportunity for healing and growth. When we acknowledge and address trauma, we pave the way for improved mental well-being, enhanced physical health, and stronger communities- all improving areas of public health.

This year’s Trauma in Our Community conference aims to provide education, inspiration, and strategies as it relates to trauma, violence and public health.

  • Hear from Dr. Deborah Prothrow-Stith, a national keynote speaker, on the topic of community violence as a public health concern.
  • Learn from local and regional experts about specific strategies that can be used with those you serve.
  • Network with professionals near and far as we expand our audience with this in person and livestreamed event.
  • Leave ready to create a more connected and compassionate society, encouraging healing and resilience for individuals and communities alike.

Join us June 27, 2024 — at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee, WI and Live Online — as we come together to discuss Healing Trauma as a Public Health Priority.
