Mobile Design Box, 753 N. 27th St. Milwaukee, WI 53208
Exhibition runs from July 21, 2017 – September 30, 2017
Opening July 21, 2017

Join us on Friday, July 21 from 5 – 9 p.m. and Saturday, July 22 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Mobile Design Box to view the work of Fresh Perspective, a group of all black visual artists, and WasteCap, a nonprofit working to save historical Milwaukee pieces that otherwise would have been lost to the landfill.

WasteCap will be exhibiting their “upcycled” reclaimed building components, in conjunction with Fresh Perspectives who will be showcasing their unique visual pieces. The event will also house work from UWM SARUP Historic Preservation Institute Director Matthew Jarosz that features endangered buildings in the Milwaukee community.

The Mobile Design Box is a UWM School of Architecture & Urban Planning initiative aimed at building community while boosting awareness and showcasing the work of SARUP research and design work alongside creative local artists and entrepreneurs via pop-up galleries. This pop-up gallery is open to the public free of charge.
