Fume Hood Safety Training for Laboratory, Shop and Art area Fume Hoods
Fume hoods provide an enclosed work area that has an air barrier between you and the hazard. Hoods are tools that also help us to maintain a safe and healthy environment by venting contaminants from the laboratory andProvide a containment area in case of spills, fire or explosions.

Come to training to learn about the safe use of a Fume hood including the types of hoods, How they work, how to maintain their proper use, trouble shooting problems, how they are tested and maintained and what is everyone’s responsibility when using them or having them present in our labs.
