Opportunities for Students: Jobs and Fellowships

City of Wauwatosa – Public Health Specialist
The Public Health Specialist coordinates the ongoing community assessment and community health improvement plan process; facilitates the Strategic and Quality Improvement Plans; maintains and expands community partnerships, implements and evaluates selected public health services and grant programs for a comprehensive approach to community-based health planning, programming, and preparedness; conducts health communication and education for the City of Wauwatosa Health Department (WHD).

Reproaction – Fellowship
The Reproaction fellowship program offers a learning opportunity for students, new professionals, and others looking to deepen their engagement in advocacy and grassroots activism. Our fellowships are paid, temporary, part-time positions that involve working closely with Reproaction staff on a variety of projects. Reproaction rejects unpaid internships and is proud to pay our fellows $15 per hour. Previous fellows have focused on communications campaigns, grassroots organizing, and research. The fellowship program teaches professional skills in a remote setting, equips and inspires our fellows to further their engagement in reproductive justice activism, and we are proud to see fellow alums continue their careers in other reproductive health, rights, and justice organizations, progressive organizations, and further academic study.
