BREAKING NEWS! THE PHD IN EPIDEMIOLOGY HAS BEEN APPROVED!!!
Congratulations to the Epi Track and all those involved on a job well done!
Did you know that the PhD in Epidemiology is the highest degree for epidemiology? This degree prepares graduates for research careers in many settings, including academia, non-governmental organizations, and public service at all levels of local, national and international government.
The program’s coursework focuses on theory, quantitative and qualitative methods, community-engagement, and the intersection of epidemiologic research and public health policy. Students will be trained to conduct independent epidemiologic research both in applied and academic settings with an emphasis on the translation of epidemiologic findings into policies that promote population health, social justice and health equity. Completion of a high quality doctoral dissertation based on original research is a key feature of the academic program.
If you or someone you know is interested in applying to the program the deadline for Fall 2017 is June 1, 2017. Contact Katie Cubberley at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information!
