Ph.D. Clinical Psychology, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, 1994
As a Senior Lecturer in the Psychology Department, my main focus is educating undergraduate psychology majors and minors. I believe that by the time students complete their degree they should have a strong basic foundation in the psychological principles, an understanding of the bridge between research and real world application, and the skills to seek out and answer questions with a level of independence. My philosophy is to encourage these skills by empowering students to be active learners rather than passive recipients of information.
