The course duration is approximately 30 minutes of officer’s knowledge.

Course Goal

The goal of this training is to provide a basic understanding in how to remain safe and protect your personal belongings.

The training covers the following topics:

  • Personal Safety Tips
  • Personal Safety Resources

Target Audience

This course is intended for UWM Campus Community (Faculty, Staff, and Students) to provide them necessary information to be personally safe on campus.


To provide necessary information on the campus police resources, tips for personal safety, and tips to help safe guard your property/belongings.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Know what to do to survive
  • Know what officers will do upon arrival to scene
