This is a beginning-level survey course on the history of the United States between the end of the Civil War (1865) and the near-present (2010+), taught fully online. There are no face-to-face meetings required.

The course is designed for maximum schedule flexibility for students, and has only 1 due date: June 23.  Between May 30 and June 23, students can work at their own pace to complete and submit assignments.

Graded Assignments: 14 objective exams (up to 4 retakes allowed), 1 essay exam (no retakes), write 30 postings, read 150 postings.
